Rachael Babcock
Hi! I'm Rachael, a certified personal trainer (CPT) and owner of Evolve Personal Performance.
My journey into fitness has been shaped by both professional training and deeply personal experience. I first became certified through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) from 2017–2020, and after taking time to start a family, I re-certified through the American Council on Exercise (ACE) in early 2024. Shortly after, Evolve Personal Performance was born.
In November 2025, I earned my Trauma-Informed Weight Lifting Certification, further reinforcing my belief that coaching should be grounded, adaptable, and responsive — not rigid or one-size-fits-all. My approach prioritizes awareness, communication, and respect for each client’s lived experience.

At Evolve, my goal is simple but intentional: to help people build strength with purpose, recover with intention, and develop confidence and capability that extends far beyond the gym. I believe progress happens when training respects the whole person — their body, their energy, their life, and their season.
I was active in sports throughout high school and later turned to long-distance running, completing a marathon and several half marathons in my early 20s. In 2016, ongoing arthritis-related knee issues pushed me to explore weightlifting — a transition that completely changed my relationship with movement. I fell in love with strength training and eventually entered the bodybuilding world, competing in both figure and physique competitions.
Living with severe knee arthritis — and more recently undergoing an Open Wedge High Tibial Osteotomy to realign my leg and reduce joint pressure — has given me firsthand insight into pain management, training modifications, and the importance of recovery. This surgery is part of a long-term plan to delay a full knee replacement by 10–15 years, and it has profoundly shaped how I coach. I understand the frustration of loving movement while navigating limitations, and I also understand how powerful thoughtful, progressive training can be for longevity and joint health.
Because of my own experiences and continued education, I frequently work with clients managing chronic pain, hypermobility, severe arthritis, joint replacements and conditions like dysautonomia. My approach prioritizes awareness, pacing, and adaptability—meeting clients where they are while building strength in a way that supports their nervous system, joints, and daily life.
I’m also neurodivergent (AuDHD), which gives me a unique perspective on how factors like anxiety, overstimulation, routines, and transitions can influence someone’s experience in fitness spaces. While I’m not a licensed mental health professional, I strive to create an environment that feels grounding, flexible, and supportive — where curiosity is encouraged and progress isn’t defined by comparison.
Fitness has supported me through pregnancy complications, postpartum anxiety and depression, and life’s many curveballs. For me, it’s never been just about aesthetics — it’s about mental clarity, self-trust, resilience, and the freedom to move with confidence.

Outside of coaching, I’m a mom to two energetic adventurers (ages 4 and 6) and partner to my incredibly supportive husband. Movement is woven into our family life — from hiking trails and park days to sports and swimming. One of my greatest hopes is to raise kids who understand the value of both physical and mental well-being, and I strive to model that balance every day.
Whether you’re just getting started, returning from injury, rebuilding trust with your body, or navigating fitness through a neurodivergent or anxious lens, I’m honored to support you. Together, we’ll build something sustainable, empowering, and uniquely yours.

I take a comprehensive approach with my clients, recognizing how training, diet & nutrition habits, sleep, stress management, & mindset/mental health, all play into their well-being. Optimizing each of those helps us THRIVE!

Now days you’ll find me pursuing my passion for bodybuilding. Fun fact: it was my sister Rachael (owner of Evolve Personal Performance) who got me into lifting & bodybuilding! I began competitive bodybuilding 6 years ago, at age 43, & recently advanced into the IFBB professional league!
✨ Personal Life: I have 5 kids, ranging in age from 20 to 30 years old, & 2 adorable grandsons. I love my fur babies (1 dog, 3 cats) and spending time outdoors, whether playing or just relaxing – especially anywhere a beach is involved! ☀️🏖️🌊

Hi my name is Madi! I graduated from Central Michigan University in 2022 with a BS in exercise science. I am NASM certified personal trainer and currently prepping for my first bodybuilding show in the fall! I am also going back to school to be a physical therapy assistant. Although I personally like to train hard, I realize that everyone's goal is different and I usually take a more functional approach to training clients with a good focus on mobility.
Outside of the fitness world I enjoy reading books, baking, traveling, trying new food, and cuddling with my fur baby (Scout the cat) when he lets me.

Chris Babcock
Operations Manager
Chris is the behind-the-scenes powerhouse at Evolve Personal Performance—and also Rachael’s husband, number-one supporter, and the guy who makes all her “crazy dreams” come to life (with a laugh and a lot of tools). From building the gym out not once, but twice, to laying floors, assembling and reassembling equipment, and even jumping into light construction—Chris is the hands-on force that helps turn vision into reality.
While he works full-time as an analyst by day, Chris still finds the time and energy to handle much of the backend work that keeps Evolve running smoothly. His technical skills, creativity, and problem-solving mindset have been invaluable in every aspect of the business—from infrastructure and systems to practical, everyday operations.
Whether it’s solving a logistical challenge, fixing equipment, or quietly managing the million little things that keep the gym humming, Chris is truly a jack of all trades—and the glue that holds it all together.
